heres the thing before i did a clean install vista home basic
games explorer was updateing even was updateing battlefield 2
even thro its not for vista and now its not updateing any game i install

i have dial up and i know thats not the issue and the
( Download Information about installed games ) is Checked but will not
download any info i have norton anti-virus online installed which i got
from my isp netzero hi-speed 3g dialup and im thinking i might be
the anti-virus but will sure but i also think it might some other things
aswell

i have sp1 installed not sure if that be causeing it from updateing the
games explorer i have i think that sp1 changes how / or keeps games
explorer from updateing not sure if that is true or not but sure seems
like in my case

any help would be nice and i would be more then happy to true any thing at this point
