OS: Windows Vista

Startup

My wife's Vaio with Widows Vista will not complete the turn on boot cycle. The errors show that an OS is not installed; however, my wife has been using the computer, new, since december. She is in school and has most of her information on the computer. She turned it on last night and Windows could not run. I have tried Safe Modes and System restore; however, the computer says it can not perform system restore. I just made a Windows Vista repair disk from my computer and followed the Startup Repair but to no avail. What can I do? Please help.

Re: Startup

does it have a non destructive repair option, the newer computers with a restore partition seem to be incorporating it
