I misclicked and now I can't open anything?
The other day I tried to open some exe installer with limewire (accidentally misclicked) and now every exe file on my computer is set to open with limewire. I can open some files, but anything that requires unzipping or even anything from the control panel I can't open.
Is there anything I can do to change it back to the way it was? |

Hi Homeskillet, Welcome to TSF.
I'd suggest you try a system restore, if not then read and follow the steps here: IMPORTANT - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help

Re: I misclicked and now I can't open anything?
Have you tried this? I just saw this in another post just a second ago.
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm This website has .reg files that reset the file associations for .cpl;.exe;.zip;.com;etc. Check this out and see if it fixes your problem. |
