Question Quicktime

I would really appreciate if someone would help me set up Quicktime as a defauld player.

I don`t have Quicktime, but the usual way to do this with any player is to open Quicktime/Options

Look for a list of files which Quicktime will play. Check all the ones you want to have as default

you can go to start menu/programs/set program access and defults. its usually at the top where windows update, windows catalog, ect. you should be able to do it there.
