I have an HP Pavillion with an AMD CPU & Windows vista installed. I installed the SW for a Belkin F5U220 (5 port PCI Hi-Speed 2.0 USB card) and then the actual card and then restarted the computer. According to Belkin instructions windows should recognize the card and drivers.
Vista finds the card, but considers it an 'unknown' device. I let Vista attempt to find the drivers but it doesn't. I even tried the option of inserting the driver disk, but Vista could not find the drivers. The Belkin site does not even recognize the F5U220 as a legitimate device, so I can not get drivers from them. I give up - this is the worst version of windows I have ever used and I started with Windows 3.1. I'm beginning to hate microsoft, but don't have the knowledge or interest in learning a new operating system - like Open-BSD or Linix.http://www.techsupportforum.com/imag...es/1-upset.gif ![]() Where can I get the appropriate driver, I have work to do ???? |
