Help Problem With Screen

i have just bought one of those tv/moniters working fine then all off a sudden decided not to show my pc screen???? will show all the boot up but then nothing!!! my old moniter will still show everything! anyone with ideas would be great!!

I am nooooooo good with comp stuff so could do with the laymans version of what to do thanks

does the tv/moniters need drivers what is the brand / model#

when does it go black after it posts or after the windows screen at bootup

and what does the device manager show
start ( type in start search ) device manager view hidden device's

Is your problem with the monitor or with Windows

dont think it will need drivers cos it worked for a couple of days before this happened!!! it shows the the scrolling windows loading bar then blank and that show hidden devices dont bring up anythin

Looks like Windows isn't starting up correctly.

Go into safe mode and try a system restore. Something might have corrupted boot.ini.
