Red "X's" instead of pictures

I am having a problem here with some pictures.. Recently, I have been noticing that when I use the MSN Gas Pricing widget, instead of the prices coming up, I get the red x's in their place.. I also get the x's when I go into the windows help section too.

What could this be from? Any help would be great.

try this,

tools, internet options, advanced tab and go down the list to Multimedia and if there is a checkmark in show Image Download Placeholder, take checkmark out and click apply

I tried that but it didn't do anything. I've restarted my computer. I've even uninstalled the MSN widget and re-downloaded it and I still have that issue. It's the only program that I have the issue with and it just recently started. I have pictures everywhere else, just not there.

try another browser like firefox or opera to help determine if its a msie problem or something else.

my guess is you need to install "Flash".

I have flash installed already, however, I did uninstall it and re-installed the latest version of it.. Still have the same issue :(
