We will go with the x86 Edition...this is what you most likely have. If it is wrong it WILL NOT hurt anything....it just wont work.

So you know, We need to go through these steps first. Although its a pain, it is necessary to find out if your partition has been deleted. If it has not, we will be able to recover back to your normal OS. If it has been deleted, you will have to do a clean install of Vista. (OUCH)

Did your laptop come with Vista already on it? If so, you should have a few CD/DVD's that came with it. Did you say that you lost all of these?

After you have the CDD ready.....Put the CD into your laptop and start it. Woatch the sreen...you should see at the top "Press any key to boot from CD" when you see this....press a key...

Yes Choose your language and let me know when you get to the screen that says "Repair your Computer" at the bottom left of the screen
