Trojan Horse Virus Help

Hello everyone.

Hopefully I'm posting this in the proper place...

My computer has recently been infected by a Trojan Horse virus. I have done a scan using Norton Anti-virus and it has picked it up but I'm not sure on how to remove it. I can't access my Control Panel, My Computer and My Documents. I try opening it but the taskbar goes black and then it closes the window. I'm doing a number of scans right now and I have no idea on what to do. My computer is Windows Vista. Please, any help would be appreciated. I need to get rid of this ASAP. Thanks a lot.

Re: Trojan Horse Virus Help

Haha, I have no idea. It apparently can't be found or something? I'm not sure.
So I should try downloading Kaspersky? Okay.. I'll try that.

Re: Trojan Horse Virus Help

ok yea there is like a free scanner system that it has but it wont remove it, thats why you need to either buy or crck it. i can give you a site for the sanner if you want.. http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
try using that or something, dont rely on Norton its pathectic garbage i fel sorry for those programms that waste their time. i also found out that there is a trian which all the options working but ony for 30 days then u have to buy it. still that will remove the virsus i think.

Re: Trojan Horse Virus Help

Okay, thanks for the link. I know theres a virus on the computer and I even know what type it is too. My problem is just removing it from the computer. I have no idea how to do that. I thought Norton should take care of those things?

Re: Trojan Horse Virus Help

OK excelent , now i send you a link of whick kav is to download the trial. http://www.kaspersky.com/anti-virus_trial
thats the link and select the antivirus, it lasts for 30 days fully working but after 30 days it wont. that will remove it toally, also can you tell me abit of the information about the virus like its name? Norton wont remove it its powerless... when it comes to scanning agin with kav ( kaspersky) it will fin it and then it will ask you if you want to delete it. you press yes and its all done tell me if you suffer any more problems.

Re: Trojan Horse Virus Help

So I downloaded Kaspersky and I did pretty much every scan except for the full system scan seeing as I can't find it. Anyways, it does the scan and completes it but it doesn't say if it has found anything threatening or whatever.
