Vista Concious Issue
Hello all, this is my first post here
![]() I have a problem... and i was wondernig if you guys were to have a solution... I bought a laptop last year from dell australia, its a vostro 1500, 2.2ghz C2D, 2 gig of ram, 8600M GT, 160 performance HDD etc, far capable of taking on vista. I bought this laptop with XP because i wasnt fond of vista at the time, i was recently given an "off site archive" copy of vista ultimate ![]() Here is my delema... Besides the fact vista is a power hungary OS with nothing better to do than eat RAM like its McDonalds, or run the processor like its a tred-mill i really was fond of it. But as the "off site archive" isnt exactly legal here in lies my problem.. the offiste archive its copied from dell... So my question is If i have this copy of vista on my machine, will dell get me into trouble? or does there privacy statement prevent them from doing it? Thanks heaps guys, -Nick PS anyother opinions are welcome Last edited by Kage_61 : 03-15-2008 at 11:41 PM. |
