ntvdm.exe
Hi guys,
one of my friend is getting blescreen 0XD1. and it shows that ntvdm.exe is corrupted, and i dont have any idea what is that. i searched in google and couldnt find a satisfying resolution apart from inceasing the virtual memory. It is a intermittent issue and happens generally when i turn on the comp after turning it off for a long time. any help will be really appreciated, because i dont know what to do ![]()

Re: ntvdm.exe
ntvdm.exe is process that belongs to the Windows 16-bit Virtual Machine. It provides an environment for a 16-bit process to execute on a 32-bit platform. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.
Solution: 1. Download the batch file for the program you are having a problem with. 2. Save the file (NTVDM-xxx.BAT) to your desktop or folder where the program is installed. 3a. On your desktop: double click the icon to start the program; OR 3b. From the program folder: point to the bat file to start the program. |
