Problem finding a lost document

My girlfriend was working on a big project for school. She worked on it earlier in the day and sent it to herself so she could work on it at home. She opened the document at home and finished working on it, after she was done with it she saved it from opening it from her email account.

Now she can't find where she put it and is very upset about it. I can't seem to find it either. I've looked everywhere. It's somewhere isn't it? She saved it but we can't find it on her computer anywhere.

Does anyone have any idea where this file could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Problem finding a lost document

The eaiest way would be to use windows search to look for the file name.

Also not sure what verison of Windows that computer has, but I would just check the temp folders as that is where all downloads go when you check open and not save as.

Also if it was done in word, it will usually have the last 5 (i think) documents opened i word under the file menu. You can try looking there and open it from that and chose save as.
