ICS Internet Sharing
I have Vista Basic and I am trying to share the internet through a Wireless Access Point without a router. I only have a dial-up connection (cable/dsl not available where I am). The Access Point is connected directly to the computer's ethernet port.
I enable ICS for my dial-up connection and I can connect to it and access the internet with computers connected to the Wireless Access Point. The problem is the host computer that has dial-up modem in it cannot connect to the internet anymore. After trying to connect for a while it says "this page cannot be displayed". If I disable ICS, then the host computer can connect to the internet but then all the PCs connected to the WAP cannot. What am I doing wrong? Please help.
