Howto connect Ext loud speakers through USB
Hi everybody,
My lap top uses Vista familial , I have a Ipod Dock (Altec Lansing) equiped with a mini USB, so I can connect it to the PC. I tried but the sound keep being supplied by the PV speakers. How to resolve this, Thank you reece ![]() |

Hi Reece
Welcome to TSF. I do not think that USB port is for sound. I think that port is there to enable you to sync your ipod with itunes without having to remove it from the dock. Did it specify when you bought the speaker that it could be used with a computer?

You might be right Jack,
There is as well a normal plug, similar to the one I have in front of the lap top for ear phones. Do you think I can use this one. About the mini usb, the sign under it, looks like a "trident" Thank you anyway Reece |
