Hotspot buttons sometimes don't work
Hi
On some web sites I visit, some of the (what I call) hotspot butons don't seem to work. What I mean by those are the buttons you click on on the screen to take you to another page - such as on a hotel booking page. eg Enter details, click on the "next" button........but it's just like there's no command behind it. Some of the other similar buttons on the same screen do work. Tried on another computer, and they do work !! Both computers fairly new and Vista Home Premium. Is it something to do with Javascript (whatever that is) ? |

Re: Hotspot buttons sometimes don't work
It could be... and it could also have to do with IE7's 'phishing filter', or pop-up blocker (which is a good thing).
What version of Java do you have? The latest is (JRE) 6u4 This is how to update your Java:

Re: Hotspot buttons sometimes don't work
Hi Jacee
Thanks for this. Tried it but no difference. The machine is doing some odd things - don't know if they're related. eg tried to print your reply so I could follow it but as soon as I pressed print icon, machine froze. Only way out was via task manager !! |
