Can't print multiple copies with my printer on Vista
Hi
I can't get my printer to print out more than one page of a document with windows vista, I have a Lexmark x2470. Every time I try to print more than one page of a document, I get an error message pop up saying "Lexmark connect time executable has stopped working". I have installed the vista drivers for this printer, and the printer and drivers are all working properly when I checked... I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times using the vista drivers, I have no clue what else I can try? Help ![]() :) |

Re: Can't print multiple copies with my printer on Vista
Same Trouble. Moved to Vista from XP. Canon Pro9000. I can only print one document at a time. There are no error messages. Is it another administrator setting?

Re: Can't print multiple copies with my printer on Vista
Hi. . . Some reporting areas/system information areas within Vista to check for additional clues: • Problem Reports and Solutions: START | type wercon.exe into the Start Search box | right-click on wercon.exe that appears up top | select Run as Administrator | view "See Problems to Check". • Reliability and Performance Moniter: START | type perfmon into the Start Search box | right-click on perfmon that appears up top | select Run as Administrator | view both the Performance Moniter and the Reliability Moniter. • The Event Viewer - START | type eventvwr into the Start Search box | right-click on eventvwr.exe that appears up top | select Run as Administrator | view the various logs starting with the Administrative logs. • The Device Manager - START | type dev man into the Start Search box | right-click on Device Manager that appears up top | select Run as Administrator | look for any red or yellow "flags". Also... something that may be interesting to find out (I know my curiosity is now peaked) - will your system print multiple pages to an "alternate printer program" such as One Note or whatever other option is listed as a printer? If multiple pages are printed to One Note, it would tell me that a compatibility issue most likely exists - whether it be with your printer or with a non-Microsoft Vista installed program such as anti-virus. I think this is worth a shot. Please let me know how you make out. Regards. . . jcgriff2
