Help with organizing vista and the such
Hey guy's merry Christmas.
I need some help organizing my desktop around for example. When i launch games is there anyway to make the sidebar and dreamscene to stop while i play my game then come back on once i close my application to save memory?. Is there anyway to make my computer reset its resolution after running a app in a different resolution so i don't have to fight around with my tv remote to get the right resolution on my tv?. Aswell how to i make applications group together like in XP where you had like 7 msn contacts talking to you and it grouped them up for you so it doesn't clog your taskbar. Thanks to everyone who helps me and have a nice Christmas and new year :). |

There ya go, problem solved! Now if you could explain what you're trying to get at with the first question and perhaps i could help you with that as well, but for now i'll step back and let some others who might know how to solve that one join in. God Bless and In Him, Eric P.S. not to but into anyone's business, but i would suggest taking down that image...it reveals alot of people's personal email addresses. Skifer UK, be a pal and tell me how you posted the screenshot? Please
I can get the capture onto wordpad or paint but can't, for the life of me get it into a thread! Even using the 'snipping tool' I can't get a snip into the thread!

Re: Help with organizing vista and the such
Okay, this is all i can think of for that. you'll have to shut it off before you go in the game and then restart it when you exit. you can do this faster by doing this:
press: ctrl+shift+esc find the program and right click on it, lick "find process", then end process. then when you want it to start again press: windows-key+R and type the application's name (you may have to mess around a bit to figure out exactly what the app is-yo can do that by right clicking the app or .exe file, looking at properties, and memorizing the exact name for the executable file) and press enter to run the application. There's really no way to get it to do what you're wanting, it's too direct. God Bless and In Him, Eric |

Re: Help with organizing vista and the such
Are you sure your mic works to begin with? Do you have another computer to test it with? Do you have the correct drivers for the sound card? Have you attempted to use the mic with any other audio decices (like the audio recorder)
