startup progams

I have gone repeatedly to start up and disabled Yahoo Messenger. (making
sure to click "apply").
Every time I do, it comes right back. Is there any way to permantly
disable Yahoo Messenger from start up programs?

Re: startup progams

Lead3,

I don't know why trying to stop Yahoo from start up at run>msconfig>startup wouldn't
work. But I took your advice and tried it through Windows Defender startup. I then restarted to test it........No Yahoo at startup!!

Thanks,
