OS: Vista Home Premium
|
I bought a new Home Premium Vista PC in February but it has recently developed a problem in that I have lost all sound except when playing back music with iTunes. I have followed Windows Vista Help, tips for fixing common sound problems but none of these have resolved the issue. I use NoteWorthy Composer but get the following message when trying to play back music "Microsoft GS Wavetable device has failed to open properly" . I mention this as I wonder if this is at the root of the problem of getting no sound?
