got 2 questions/problems
First is that I let my freind use my comp, for a school project he needed to do, since his was getting fixed. it was a project for some video class, so he needed to burn a video dvd. I told him that my windows dvd maker did not work, and he said it was alright cause he had Nero 7.
Well he ended up having a burnt copy of Nero 7, and it wouldn't instal, etc. he ended up going somewhere else. ANways, I went to remove the stuff of nero 7 that actually did get installed, and upon going to program files and deleting the nero folder, it said I needed permission! The only buttons were "try again", and "cancel"\ So I started deleting each subfolder, one by one, until I got to the last remaining one called "nero Backitup" This is the folder that Winodws will not let me delete for some reason. Is there any way to get rid of this stupid folder? The other thing is that when I go to do a defragment of my HDD, after 2 hours it is still going!!!! on win Xp with my 80GB HDD, it took almost less than 20 min, and that is with an inferior processor too!! Now I got a core 2 duo 2.4ghz, and a 300Gb HDD. I always just cancel it, cause I figure it will never finish. How long is it supposed to take on Vista? |

Re: got 2 questions/problems
You need to go to the Nero website and download their special Nero removal tools and remove all traces of it.
A 300g Hardrive obviously will take a lot longer than a 80g, but that seems a bit too long. Try using a third party Defrag program and see how long it takes.

Re: got 2 questions/problems
I use perfect Disc and it is the best, all my discs are defragged once a week automatically at a time when I'm not using the computer
Sorry about not posting links but I'm on a capped download plan and have used up all my usage and have been capped at less than download speed (it takes 2 minutes to load one TSF page)

I have a 12gig down/up load limit and when that is exceeded it is capped to that speed. It is very frustrating as you could imagine particularly when you reply or edit a post it takes forever.
