SBS 2003 Stops serving

We are running SBS2003 and our support person has recently applied the microsoft latest service patches. Several days later our problems began. All work stations could not create their logical drives and the server disappeared off the network. Logon at the server and you just sit and wait for the desktop but nothing appears. Power server off and on and you can then log in but after approx 2 - 3 mins the server stops responding again and network connections are lost. Re boot again and stop all Msexchange services and the server hums along nicely as it should. It would appear Msexchange is causing some problem but we are not sure. Does anyone have any ideas where to look ? Thanks

Re: SBS 2003 Stops serving

I would start the server in safe mode and see how long it sits there... then try disabling some of the services and booting in normal mode... also take a peek at the eventlog which would give us much more detailed information...
