losing shares on 2003 server on reboot
We have encountered a phenomena as of late where we completely lose access to our shares upon reboot of the server. Any ideas regarding settings in the server registry that may retain the shared drives? The drives are actually on a Dell MD3000i array. It looks like it is an issue of the order of how the services are started (i.e. the server service is starting before the SAN service upon reboot...restarting the server service will bring up shares again). anyone know how to change the order in the registry? cannot find Server service in the services folder nor can I find the SAN service.

Re: losing shares on 2003 server on reboot
Well as a easy/quick workaround you could set up a script to automatically start/restart the server service. You can't really change in what order services start up.

Re: losing shares on 2003 server on reboot
There is a microsoft article that you can look up on support.microsoft.com that will tell you how to fix it. Has something to do with adding dependices to lanserver i believe.
