[SOLVED] Free Backup Tool for corporate?

Hi. Im searching for free backup tool for corporation use.
I need to that software/freeware can do:
- Backup my own selected directories (just copy files or zip them)
- Backup them at specified time, specified day (schedule, maybe can use windows inbuilt task scheduling)
- Backup them each day in different folder or different archive (better if name is like date, because if I want backup 3 day back files...)

P.S. I try windows inbuilt backup tool, but when I needed to restore it, but backup file was corrupted - broken.

So please help me find some good software. Thanks!

Re: Free Backup Tool for corporate?

I've used cwRsync with good results. What this does is allows you to sync a data source between two systems. I've got a client that runs two servers on their network and they wanted the ability to have a live backup of their data on another machine so in the event the primary server died, they'd be able to enable the backup server and they'd lose little time. Of course they didn't want to run a clustered server due to the cost of the OS and the issues with common data storage. It sync's each night and keeps a consistent copy between the systems.

Windows' msbackup does infact work. What did you store the backups on?

Re: Free Backup Tool for corporate?

In the grand scheme of things, does it make sense to use a free backup tool to backup potentially vital data from your business? Not saying that MSBACKUP doesn't work, but the original poster is looking to save a few bucks on one of the more important programs you can have in your business. Just my opinion.
