Re: domain enironment in workgroup area.

Rupesh_7867,

In order to create a Domain environment, you need a Windows "server" OS, i.e. NT 4.0 Server, Server 2003, Server 2008, etc. and this system needs to be configured as a PDC (Primary Domain Controller). From there, you need to join the domain from the client PCs (XP, Vista, Win2K) and create domain accounts for the domain computers and domain users.

Internet access can be accomplished without the Domain controller. You simply need a broadband modem and router or combo modem/router. This is usually supplied by your broadband ISP.

Hi Rupesh,

It is against forum rules to assist with the illegal use of any software. Since you are requesting assistance with an unlicensed copy of Server 2003, we can no longer assist you in this matter.

This thread will now be closed.
