You will need to check to see if all of the hardware inside of your machine has drivers that are supported by Windows Server 2003. If it is off the self PC from (LOCAL Retail Store) you will need to go to the manufactures website and see if they offer drivers that are supported. If you come across any hardware that is not supported by the Server OS it can become a nightmare trying to get it working properly.
Installing Server 2003 is just like installing any other Windows Distro.
