Exchange Server C Drive out of SPACE!!

We are currently running Exchange 2003 on a server with mirrored 18GB SCSI hard drives. As you probably guessed, the drives are filling up with the logs as the Database is stored on the D drive.

Is there a way to break the mirror on the Boot drive, insert a bigger hard drive and remirror on a bigger drive and not lose any of our data or have to reinstall??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Exchange Server C Drive out of SPACE!!

Most raid comtrolers have the ability to run more then 1 raid set if yours does then all you would have to do is install 2 new larger drives set them as raid 1 then move the data on your current raid set after you transfer all the data from your current set rename your now C drive to F or G then rename your new set to C most raid controlers have utilities that help you do this

Would it not make sense to run the ntbackup utility which should purge the logs after running?

Amen brother!

Not only that but then do a defrag of your Information Store and get back some needed space as well.
