How to point Mx record in DNS server

Hai
I install the Mail server Locally. Now I want to point the Mx record in the DNS server. how to do this.Local DNS is configured.My domain name is already registered.

Does your domain resolve to a dns server in your building? If not you have to call up whoever hosts it and have them do it.
