Re: Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 X-64 Bit Operationg System
hey mate
im assuming that you aernt running a domain (it sounds kinda like that), if you are, let me know and i will write a reply for with a domain controller steps: 1. go start, and then click run, here type "lusrmgr.msc" (minus the quote marks) this will open the console for managing users and groups 2. on both servers you will need to find the user account that you are using and double click on them. 3. in here make sure that the box for "account is disabled" or "account is locked out" are not checked. 4. also for making matters simple, make the password the same 5. if you ahve the file server role setup, make sure that the permissions are right let me know if you have any problems Murray |

Re: Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 X-64 Bit Operationg System
well, what its probably doing is trying to log in, but the password is wrong, similar to logging into an email account with the wrong password. is it possible to login using a different username and password, or even mapping the drive in my computer, and selecting a username and password.
did you ahev anyluck in the lusrmge.msc?? Muzz |
