Hello anybody,
read and weep Some goofer (to be polite) installed a trial version of Server 2003 onto the Student network at a school I support. I started here a little while ago and didnt notice as it was running smoothly until... BAM the trial license ran out, now you cannot log in as it shuts down the server, now the domain still runs, but we need access to the server. I did try to log on in safe mode and reset the activation wizard but safe mode does not allow the key to be reset. So The school now has a copy of Server 2003 and it looks like I have to do a reinstall, but i want to keep AD, my question is where is the AD file stored in the windows dir, and will i loose AD after a reinstallation? Any ideas are much appreciated Michael |
