AD Server Monitoring and Baselining
Our organization struggled to find a cost effective solution to monitor and baseline our Active Directory Servers. We wanted solution that was highly automated and required very minimal user intervention. We wanted threshold monitoring, graphs, and a web based control panel to configure and monitor our AD servers. We want to automate repetitive tasks like the archival or deletion of IIS 5 and IIS 6 logs on Windows 2000 or Windows 2003. We wanted to monitor services and track response times. We wanted an agent-less solution using WMI. We never found that product, so we created one. We took the best features of all the different tools and combined them into one product.
