Server 2003 Authentication problems
I run windows 2003 server on an ibm m20 24/7 with 4 systems attached. As below
1, i use to download stuff this is not logged onto the domain. 2, This is my main system and its on the domain. 3, I have a wireless access point that connects a laptop to the domain. 4, My daughter has a system connected by the wireless she is on a domain I have a script that runs and is supposed to connect all the mapped drives. I have shares on the server which seem to work all the time. However on system number 2 if i try to get to that from the laptop (system 3) I have to authenticate. Is this because i have the laptop on, then turn system 2 on and try to logon if that makes sense, sometimes i can log on and sometimes i can't. I also cannot add domain users from active directory to any of the workstations i don't know why. What i want to do is logon to the mapped drives and not have to authenticate. Any help appreciated Thanks |
