Windows 2003 DNS
Hi,
I am new to 2003. I have windows 2003 web edition running in workgroup mode, and can connect over the internet using my modem IP. The problem I am having is with setting up DNS and a name server. My registrar requires 2 name servers to be entered for any domain directed to a website. When I go to register my server as a name server, it requires 2 seperate IP's and of course I only have 1 incoming IP. How do I set up the DNS records in windows server and how do I over come this IP problem. As it stands now,I get "site is blocked by administrator" due to improper settings at my registrar. Thank you,LeRoy Last edited by leroys1000; 11-07-2005 at 09:00 AM. |
