Registry Issue with CD Rom
Running WIN2000 with latest service packs.
Have 1 CDROM and 1 CD burner. Was operational for 2 years. I did not make any backup or emergency disks. Both CD quit working. System Control Panel says that there is a registry error. I removed both from the system, shut off the PC, physically disconnected the drives, restarted and they did not appear in the system control panel. Shut down, reconnected, and had the hardware wizard find both drives, but had the same error. Any recommendations would be appreciated! |
