user needs security tab
I am an end user trying to help my sysadmin. I had several websites on a Win 2000/IIS 5 server. I could open them in explorer, select a file, right-click and access the Security tab to do things I need to do. The 2000 server was rebuilt with Win 2003 Server/IIS 6 and I no longer can access the Security tab (only a General tab and Summary tab). My sysadmin has tried a handful of times to "grant" me this priviledge. He says my account/group(?) has "full control" over my sites. Can someone provide some guidance so that I can gently try to steer this person in the right direction?--Thanks
p.s. You may ask why someone who can't figure this out is administering a 2003 server. The answer is complicated, but related to the fact that he has primary responsibility adminsitering non-windows servers and ... |
