cant get online...help
I have a HP omnibook and Im trying to get online. I have cable internet through IO digital canle and it works with my desktop but the laptop wont go online. Is it the settings? what do I change?

Hard to tell what you have set, you didnt give me any info on that  Is the settings the same as the desktop? Are the running the same O.S.? Is the system free of malware/spyware? Are you getting any error messages? Try this for the heck of it Download WinsockFix and unzip it. Then double-click on it to run it. Try to conect, if it doesnt work we ned to look into settings
