what precautions need to be taken during installation of 2008 server on DELLT7400

Hello,

I need to install DELL T7400 with quad core intel xeon, 4gb ddr2, 3 x 250 gb sata hdds, NVDIA QUADARO FX graphics card With 2008 standard server .

Does installation goes smooth or any problems are expected as DELL T7400 is not certified by microsoft for 2008 server , at the same time we are using graphics card unlike regular servers

kindly explain if any problem will arise.

hello....it's hard to say what the outcome is going to be during the installation process of the windows 2008 O/S. You may contact Dell and ask them regarding compatibility issues with Win 2008 std. server O/S.
