How to the Administarotrs group as a security permission
I have a folder on my windows 2008 server that is attached to a 2003 domain. I would like to add the domain Administrators group to a folder but it can't find it on the domain. It keeps wanting to add the local Administrators group.

Re: How to the Administarotrs group as a security permission
Hello boesiii....need more info. here. When you right click on a shared folder from your Windows 2008 server then select Sharing and Security Tab, there are 2 places that you'll have to go, to add Domain Admin, first from the Sharing tab =>Permissions and the Security Tab and add Domain Admin. From what you've said the Domain Admin is missing, if you have a DC in your network it's should be there.
Also, any errors in your Event Viewer?
