Urgent help needed : 2003 DNS/Domain

I have a domain controller bit.abc.net with internal IP address 192.168.3.3 and netbios name bitb

Untill today, all the us were able to resolve netbios name bitb i.e. 192.168.3.3

But for some reason, now all computers are resolving this domain with the public IP address (DNS record) of domain abc.net ( i.e. 72.X.X.X)

What can I do to make sure all domain computers access domain controller with IP address 192.168.3.3

Any help would be highly appreciated ...Need to add couple of computers in domain and its not working anymore as the IP is being resolved wrongly.

Hi sankam,

Pls. verify that your DC is using an internel DNS, in your case it shd be 192.168.3.3, or you meant 192.168.1.3? Then try assigning a DNS Static on one of the client computers with a DNS of 192.168.1.3, see if this helps.

I will appreciate if you can post here an ipconfig /all info of your DC, it help me and others a lot to help you more.
