Re: How to protect windows 2003 server?
there are more attacks on windows then Linux, it's very easy to secure a windows environment. The issue is there are few attacks on Linux because it's a sepeclised OS.

I suggests to use an excellent hardware firewall. Sonicwall is an inexpensive firewall, reasonable. In addition to this you may buy their comprehensive Gateway Security Suite that includes Anti-virus/Spyware removal software/24-7 Tech support. You may check out their solutions => http://www.sonicwall.com/us/products/solutions/81.html . In addition to this, you may check this out McAfee's Endpoint Security or TOPS (you may just have this installed in your servers for more protection), very reasonable too=> http://www.mcafee.com/us/medium/solutions/index.html. I would also suggests to have WSUS configured in one of your DC's so that windows updates will run auto on all client PC's.
