How can connect a vista ultimate client to windows server 2003 in a home network with use router?

The easiest way I think is to find 'My Computer' either on the desktop or in the start menu. Right-click it and choose properties. The system window should open. Choose 'Advanced System Settings' or something similar from the top left area. Under the 'Computer Name' tab choose 'Change'. Under 'Computer Name/Domain Changes' choose the 'Domain' radio button and enter the domain name. It should now say Welcome to the domain or something similar...I used my Windows 7 Ultimate machine as a reference for these instructions but if I remember correctly it should be at least very similar if not exactly the same for yours. please let me know if this helps..
