I have just been setting up a couple of server which we had spare to test out alternatives to our companies current setup.
We currently use Linux servers with I believe Dovecot or Courier installed. Unfortunatly this system does not integrate itself properly with Active Directory, so I thought I'd give Exchange a go here. Now, Ive got all the stuff set up correctly for running it through Outlook or any other mail client, but I have got issues with OWA (Web Access). Basically, I have tried what people have said on most forums and stuff and have fiddled around with the authentication settings in ISS/The exchange console. The issue is that you can go to http://sbw.gotdns.org/ExchWeb/bin/auth or http://sbw.gotdns.org/login but when you log into the system via that form, it then prompts you to log in via HTTP authentication. So you can see, I have set up a temporary account with these credentials: USER: tst PASS: pwd Thanks. |

Re: MS Exchange Server 2003 OWA, Log in twice?
I don't know if this helps....
From your Exchange server, you can do this by going to Server Configuration and Client Access, Click on OWA and then select properties. Go to Authentication tab and Check Use on or more standard authentication methods: and choose Integrated Windows Authentication and Basic Authentication.

Re: MS Exchange Server 2003 OWA, Log in twice?
He uses 2003.
This is an issue with IIS not exchange. Something in IIS is not right. So are you dyndns.com? If so i use your mail fowarding service. I would setup OWA for SSL and enable basic auth, that should remove that issue. |
