Public Folder sharing?

Is it possible to have public folder sharing in Windows Server 2003? Where Win XP clients don't have to enter a username & password? I looked online and it doesn't look like it is possible, but does anyone know a way?

Thanks

Troy

Hi troy,

If you mean a shared folder on the server, then you can share it and add "everyone" under permissions with read permissions.

Re: Public Folder sharing?

Give everyone access to the folder and then map a drive on the XP client to the folder.
