[SOLVED] Can ONLY create OU in root of domain

Hello all,

I'm an admin for a business with a server 2000 active directory environment. I'm attempting to un clutter AD a bit, but i cannot seem to create an OU... EXCEPT in the root of the domain. I am a member of the Domain Admins, enterprise Admins, Schema Admin groups. I can do just about anything else i need to do minus this. When i right-click on the computers or users OU i do not get an option to even create an OU. Same thing applies when i am in those OU's ( Users, Computers ) and i right click. Any advice? AM i not in a group? Is this doable?

Re: Can ONLY create OU in root of domain

Does anyone know what could be causing this? It's a bit of a pain in the butt. I just need to be able to create Oorganizational units in the users and computers containers to separate disabled users and to better group them by department.

Re: [SOLVED] Can ONLY create OU in root of domain

Well, you would need to create a OU in the root .. and more OUs in that container. You can not create OUs in folders (users, or computers default container)
