[SOLVED] Windows 7 Crashing on a new build
--- Oh nuts, sorry! I posted this in completely the wrong forum. I don't know what I was thinking.
Hey gang, I'm not 100% sure where to post this but I think it might be a Windows 7 issue: I've just built myself a new rig, I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64bit and every so often the PC freezes up or resets randomly - It's happened when Windows is loading up after boot, when I'm logging in, when I'm idling, surfing or playing games. I'm not 100% sure what the cause is and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help? Here's what's inside: Arctic Power 700w PSU MSI 770-C45 AMD Phenom 2 x4 955 XFX GeForce GTX 260 4gb DDR3 1333mhz Maxtor ATA HDD I've not tried reinstalling Windows 7 yet, but I'm not sure whether it's an issue with the rig itself or whether it's a Windows issue. I've tested the memory, taking out each of the two 2gb sticks of ram that I have and that made no difference whatsoever. Any ideas and help would be appreciated, thanks!
