[SOLVED] sbs 2003 domain and Hamachi

We need to connect several pc's of a 2003 domain in small office network to share files with an external pc thru hamachi.
We have an error message telling thatwe have no rights to create such a network.

Does someone have the solution. Tks in advance.

hello

no errors in event viewer. As soon as i start the wizard to help me set up a home or small office network the following message is issued " your account has no rights to setup such a network. to configure a network you neee to have rights to share an internet connection, a windows firewal and a network bridges" (translated from french).

Is the Windows Server a Domain Controller? Do you have all the Users added in Admin tools =>Domain Users and Computers? Can you pls. provide an ipconfig /all of the server and one of the client computer and post them here?

first of all, are you logged on as an administrator

second, SBS server has a great VPN server built into it, several of my clients use it and think its great. i have tried hamachi but it wreaked havoc on the routing, sending bits of data out on the hamachi connection when it was the only computer etc.

i would really reccomend looking into the remote access component of the server.

Why not setup a ipsec vpn?

tks to everyone have setup a sbs vpn. it was really easy and everything works now fine
