Joining server to domain; access denied
Hi
I have a problem with joining a server to our domain. The server was a DC (not first or last) on another domain. We dcpromo'd the server off the old domain. However when I try and join the server to the new domain (as a member server) the message “The following error occurred attempting to join the domain Access is denied” is displayed and we cannot join the server. I have ran NTDSutil and cleaned the metadata, have use NewSid to generate a new Sid, but all to no avail. Any ideas? Many thanks. |
