Missing PCI driver dont know what it is?
Hey tech support ok here is the story
I got a free laptop nothing on it reinstalled os didnt install any driver when I used the disk. I reinstalled all of the except one PCI slot idk what the hardware is in the PCI slot. Is there anyway except opening it up to find out what it is? Its a Gateway 1450 windows 2k pro Anyhelp would be appreciated! Thank you. |

Try one of these: System Info Tools SIW - System Information for Windows BelArc Advisor SiSoftware Sandra (the System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant Everest Otherwise, you can go into Device Manger, find the item (probably under Other Devices with a question mark, or will have a yellow exclamation point), then get the Device Instance ID string from the Details tab. Just need the VEN_XXXX&DEVXXXX part, then look it up on the PCI Database To add a Details tab to Device Manager's Properties dialog: 1. Control Panel | System | Advanced | Environment Variables | System variables | New. 2. Set the Variable name to DEVMGR_SHOW_DETAILS and the Variable value to 1.
