Unable to make more than 1 Virtual machine on 2008, please help!
Ok, I created a virtual server as part of a BIGGER project I am working on and it went great, no issues. First time trying it, awesome!
Then I tried to create a second and kept running into a brick wall. After a bit of research I saw that the Enterprise edition of Server 2008 only supports one V server. The data center version supports an unlimited amount. I went ahead and "upgraded" to the Data Center version and created another virtual server. The Data Center version is supposed to support unlimited amounts of virtual machines. However, when I try to start the second Virtual machine, I get the following error message: Failed to Open Attachment D: Error: "The Process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" The D drive has my server 2008 disc in it, so I don't know how that is possible. Please help. :( |
