Ntsecure restarting server service
We are looking for a way to restart server service here. While checking Ntsecure servers the removable storage service gets hung sometimes. I can find what process it runs under, bur a lot of times the server service is included. If the prcess is killed, the service dies too. I cant restart it. The service is needed to map drives. If the server service stops an error pops up when trying to restart it. The only way to get it running is to reboot.

Re: Ntsecure restarting server service
What is the recovery action set to for when the service fails? Or is that what you mean when you say you try to restart the service?
To set automatic recovery, open Services, Right click the service, then properties, then click the recovery tab. Select Restart the Service for all 3. Last edited by Suncoast; 07-31-2009 at 10:11 PM. |
