Hi everyone,
Im looking for file sharing software that users can access from the web. I would like it to have login interface that users need to login to see the files. I would also like the file sharing software to have a web interface that can be modified because I have movies on my server and I would like users to be able to click on the movie and it starts the users default media player and plays the movie. Any suggestions? |

Re: Looking for file sharing software for server 2008... SUGGESTOINS?
you are talking more about streaming now. That is different beast. Simplest way is you could setup a torrent server. But if your pushing illegal movies and such it will be taken down asap. If you streaming your really going to have a lot of bandwidth to push that kinds of traffic even for 20 consecutive users.

Re: Looking for file sharing software for server 2008... SUGGESTOINS?
I'll have plenty of bandwidth becuase i have access to a t1 line. But im not looking towards a torrent server. When you click on the link of the movie im looking for it to automatically open up your default media player and start playing the movie or even having the movie embedded in the page like how youtube works.
